Anne Houghton is a painter and printmaker living in Whitwell. She has been concentrating on printmaking for the last few months. She is never without her sketchbook and it is from these drawings that plates are made.
She came to art late in life, starting at a village class and progressing to the University of Hertfordshire where she studied Fine Art.
Anne has exhibited in London galleries as well as many local shows. She has recently been accepted as Artist in Residence at the Luton Hoo Walled Garden Art Project.
