John Rae studied architecture and worked with Maxwell Fry and Denys Lasdun. He won the competition to re-develop Dumbarton. He became Principal Lecturer at Hornsey College of Art and then Lecturer in Architecture at University College, London. He exhibits in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
