Lesley trained at Ipswich Art School as a graphic designer. After working in London for several years, Lesley got married and had three children. She continued painting for pleasure and while living in Redbourn acquired commissions for local scenes and buildings, mainly in watercolour.
Over the years, she has painted sporadically due to the demands of raising a family. She now attends an art group in Harpenden and exhibits at local art fairs. This has resulted in commissions of local scenes and house portraits. She also enjoys working in coloured pencils and has been commissioned to draw people, animals and flowers.
