Mike started painting on retirement from teaching several years ago. The majority of his work is in acrylic or mixed media on large canvases. His work is contemporary and often expressed in a range of different styles. He draws upon his passionate love of the outdoors for inspiration and many of his paintings incorporate water, skies, sunsets and mountains.
Mike experiments continually and develops fresh ideas using colour to present striking pictures capable of making a dynamic statement. Mike has undertaken large scale corporate commissions and has exhibited at a range of venues in Norfolk, Hertfordshire and Essex.
