Due to lack of visual clarity, Nona retired from a musical career to pursure her love of painting in watercolour. These paintings were inspired by the sun’s magical transformation of colour on Acer Palmatum.
A member of Hitchin Art Club, she has exhibited at Hitchin Museum, Stevenage Leisure Centre, galleries in Letchworth, Welwyn Garden City and Hatfield and currently has a solo exhibition at Benslow Music Trust in Hitchin.
Despite an accident two years ago, which caused considerable loss of sight, Nona is painting again and exploring more of the free techniques of the medium.
