Rodney, a retired Chartered Surveyor, with a life long interest in watercolour has, in recent years, spent time in Norfolk and Suffolk with a number of professional artists learning more about the various techniques of applying paint, particularly “wet into wet”.
His interest embraces both wildlife, land and seascapes, endeavouring to capture the vibrancy of the scene using various watercolour techniques. Other interests are buildings, especially churches in pen and wash, having illustrated his own book, St Peter’s Church, Gustard Wood – A Living History.
He has successfully sold his work for charity and many homes now have his pictures adorning their walls.
