She specialises in animal portraits working mostly in oils on canvas. This is not because she is animal mad, but it seems that is what she is more often than not commissioned to do. Painting mostly horses and dogs within this area. But she will also accommodate and work in whatever medium is required by the customer/client when working to commission.
She has worked for Barnfield College in Luton teaching in Adult Education and Learning Support, taking art out into the community for over thirty years, and also runs an Art Group in Upper Sundon near Luton every Thursday evening.
She is a versatile and proficient artist who creates work covering a variety of subjects in most mediums. With a wealth of ability she enjoys mimicking the styles of different artists. This has come with years of experience painting subjects using varied techniques and mediums. Favourites are the style of Renee Macintosh, Monet and Clarice Cliffe.
