Angela Reynolds uses paint to create not only visual images, but moods and emotions. Her work tends to be influenced by where she is painting. The vibrancy of the South of France, the natural colours of the countryside and the ambience all have an effect on her mood and this mood is reflected in her painting. In England her inspiration comes from the beautiful city of St. Albans and the changing seasons.
Having attended a wide range of courses to extend her skills, from completing a Foundation course at West Dean College, private tuition, to Central St. Martins summer courses in both Expressive and Abstract painting.

She says:
“I feel that I have created a good picture when viewers want to look deeply into the painting and find interpretations of their own.”
“Painting allows me to express my joy in the world and capture the energy that all living things possess. I love to have visually interesting things around me – taking them from reality to a new perception is not only very satisfying – but also fun!”
Angela grew up with her grandfather’s paintings on the walls and her mother’s encouragement to be creative and original. Angela has now developed a lifelong pleasure to a professional level.
