Julia has been developing an appreciation for colour and the medium of paint. She enjoys exploring the vast possibilities guided by the artist’s hand and the tools employed. The paintings on display are inspired by the ever changing skyscapes that take your breath away.

Julia works from her Harpenden studio as well as ‘en plein air’ to depict surrounding and international landscapes. She immerses her oil paintings with texture, light, freedom and quality in pigment. Julia is a qualified secondary school art teacher with a BA Fine Arts degree.
