Shirley has been painting for many years and exhibited in her early years with the Society of Botanical Artists. She also had some successful entries at the British Watercolour Society.
She likes painting flowers and landscapes. Shirley is motivated by the light and colour in nature. She started with oils as a young person guided by her father and later taught herself to paint in watercolour with which she had a lot of success. Presently Shirley is enjoying acrylics and oils also.
