The Kimpton Art Show is an exhibition and sale of artwork which forms a major feature of the annual Kimpton May Festival.
Now in its 33rd year, the Art Show takes place in the beautiful surroundings of the Grade I listed parish church.
This year, the show will be take place from Friday 2nd May to Monday 5th May 2014. Find out more to plan your visit.
Each year, the Kimpton Art Show brings together over 100 artists from across the region and locally; their works now hang in many parts of the world.
Exhibits typically include a range of media such as oil, watercolour, acrylic, photography and mixed media. Work ranges from the traditional to the modern as we aim to show a broad range to appeal to as wide a buying public as possible. The Show offers an opportunity for new artists to test their talent as well as for those who already have a well-established reputation to make a very valued return. Last year, we were delighted to include a number of new artists who have exhibited with Herts. Open Studios. We also welcomed artists in Other Media with their high quality displays of glassware, stained glass, clay, sculpture, original ceramics, turned wood and textiles. With works from £20 there is something for everyone’s budget.
