Sri Lankan born, Komathy studied Advanced Level Art at Jaffna College and colour/skin-tone at CityLit College London. Now settled in Herts she specialises in portraits, figures and contemporary work. She also loves themes of nature.

She tutors art at Letchworth Settlement and one of her paintings was selected for the 2021 RA Summer Exhibition.
