Selina uses basket making techniques to contrast the brilliance of straw to the darkness of willow bark in her flowers. She also loves to ‘play’ with colour to create baskets out of painted watercolour paper.

Selina uses the heritage crafts of straw plaiting and skeining willow to create small forms of baskets and flowers. Where possible she adds a splash of colourful paint to compliment the natural colour of willow.
